Press Release 1 
This press release was created for the re-launch of handbag designer Kasia Dietz's website, and helped generate attention from fashion magazines such as Marie Claire and Luxsure. 

Press Release 2 
This release was written to help an IP law firm draw attention to their expertise in handling name domain lawsuits. Their client, two comedians and social commentators, had created a website that parodied the Chick-fil-A president's stance on gay marriage.  Chick-fil-A sued the two commentators, seeking rights to the domain name of their website.  The release was picked up by Yahoo!News as well as several other sites relating to intellectual property. 

Press Release 3  
 In this press release, I highlight the shift in focus of a Paris-based wedding planning business, from "Marie-Antoinette" style weddings to more city-centric affairs.  This release was picked up by Yahoo!News.  The business owner was subsequently contacted by a publisher to write a book on wedding planning in Paris.  

Press Release 4  
This release focuses on a new gourmet boutique opened within a Paris-based cooking school.  The release was picked up by Forbes.com.

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is a non-profit organization that offers advocacy, education, and support for men and women experiencing infertility or other reproductive disorders.  In 1989, the organization founded National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW), a federally recognized health observance week.  I wrote the "rallying cry" for NIAW 2012 based upon this year's theme "Don't Ignore Infertility." The copy appeared on the NIAW website and the RESOLVE newsletter.

Organicjetsetter.com is a website that provides information about organic restaurants world-wide.  For this site's owner, I investigated and wrote about the organic food scene in Paris, Washington, D.C. and Berlin (to come).  This is not recycled copy, but is based upon my personal observations of the restaurants and eateries.

Trust and Travel is a travel agency specializing exclusively in the rental of historic Italian villas, castles, farmhouses and other dwellings.  I rewrote their "About Us" page to put increased emphasis on the qualities that make Trust and Travel different from other travel agencies; offer more of the company's personal story; and incorporate more links to other parts of their website.

WCities.com is a company that provides travel  and entertainment guides for more than 400 cities around the globe.  The sample featured here is one of dozens that I wrote for the company that explored Paris's food, nightlife, shopping, and entertainment scene.

Newsletter sample 1 This piece was written for Writing for Dollars, a newsletter providing tips and information to freelance writers.  This particular newsletter - which discussed how to bring yourself out of a writing slump - was subsequently picked up by other writing newsletters.
